Delete your Why Me! account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes:

Your Why Me! account and sign-in
Your public profile and its address (the link stops working)
Profile information, uploaded photos, Professional Journey, Links and Spotlight
Perspectives received on your profile
Outstanding Perspective requests, invitations, reminders and their links
Account history

We keep only a minimal nonpublic record that the deletion happened, and records genuinely needed for security or legal reasons. Routine encrypted infrastructure backups age out on their normal schedule. Perspectives you wrote about someone else are not linked to your account; you can correct or withdraw them with the Manage My Perspective link from your original email. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Confirm by email

Enter the email address of your Why Me! account. We'll send a one-time link to that address; opening it lets you confirm permanent deletion.
